The High Field Town House offers 12 en-suite rooms in a converted Victorian villa. Each room includes a super-king bed, hand-picked antiques, air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi. Bathrooms feature power showers with refillable aluminum toiletries. Some rooms have roll-top baths by bay windows and accommodate dogs.

Modern British Dining

The sister High Field pub serves modern British food throughout the day. The menu includes fixed-price options and daily specials like Tuscan soup and pan-fried sea bass. Ingredients include Devonshire crab, Isle of Wight tomatoes, and English berries. Union Hand-Roasted coffee is available.

Edgbaston Village Location

Located at 22 Highfield Road in Edgbaston, the hotel is opposite Simpson's restaurant and St George's Church. It is 2.5 km from Birmingham New Street station and 0.5 km from Birmingham Botanical Gardens. The Bullring shopping center is 2 km away, and Birmingham Hippodrome theatre is nearby on Hurst Street.

Pub Atmosphere Entertainment

The High Field pub features live music, supplier tastings, and cocktails including mojitos and daiquiris. The garden and shared lounge provide additional space. The pub is part of the Peach Pub Company, recognized among the 100 Best Companies to Work For.

Eco-Friendly Stay Packages

Stays include dinner in the pub, overnight accommodation, and breakfast for two. The hotel has removed plastic bottles from bathrooms, replacing them with refillable aluminum containers. Dog-friendly rooms are available, and the property offers rear access parking.

“I think this boutique hotel strikes a great balance, offering individually designed rooms in a peaceful area of Birmingham. The modern British cuisine at the on-site gastropub adds another layer of appeal. It's a smart choice for travelers looking for both style and convenience.”

Decent Stay with a Few Snags

faulty door code long wait
The room was clean and the bed was quite comfortable (I suppose that's the least one can expect).
The code-operated door was a bit of a joke upon arrival. It just didn't work. I waited around for about 20 minutes before someone showed up with a key. Reminded me of I was back in a student dorm again.
